Think Store opens in Stratford
Date: 20 Mar 2008

The Think Store is designed for people in the 14-25 age group and will operate as part of Learning Community Services provision. It is open to the community and to all secondary schools across the borough, running free programmes of study. The Centre is based on the successful 'Playing for Success' Study Support Centres and aims to inspire and motivate young people through innovative and exciting courses based on business enterprise and multimedia technology.
This Centre has been created through the efforts of many partners, all striving towards supporting the young people of Newham to achieve their potential. It is housed and part funded by Land Securities, who own the Stratford Centre and managed by Learning Community Services. It is also generously funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
In addition to the main after-school programme there will also be projects delivered at the Centre by UEL and Newham 14-19 alongside many other educational providers in Newham.
